We all know that Malay contractor are given their share but only you didn't give it to the malays who are linked with federal wishes. This is the actual problem.

It's so unfair for me a contractor for 20 years and still running, could not get a job from the State Government or PDC!

Shall I also complain to the PM that I had been marginalized by the CM YAB LGE???!!!!.....

Well done YAB for being transparent and open. Hopefully the open book will convince even the most suspicious that all UMNO and Perkasa have are lies and evil intentions.

There have been too many failed projects reported, not only they were not completed within the time and cost, but have encountered structural failures and collapses whether completed or under construction . Some have even stopped / abandoned. It has inconvenienced the end-users / rakyat. It is high time, capable Consultants and Contrators are engaged to do the job.

But you are being communist minded because you did not give the contracts to Zahrain and Tan Tee Beng. All contracts to the Malays must be given through Zahrain only, ala UMNO Baru way, then, you will be the "anak kesayangan" of this no longer powerful UMNO Baru warlord. Just do it your way, LGE, as far as it is in accordance to Competency, Accountability and Transparency! Well done LGE, just carry on and do your job and bring Penang to greater heights! So, for the 22 contracts that go to non-malays, what's the total value?
Also, give full details of the PDC contracts la .... susah ka?

For any fair award, the technical and commercial evaluation on the tender submission shall be carried out and then recommend the competent and capable contractor with good track records and lowest price for the project.

The problem here is regardless of 44 out of 66 projects or 66 out of 66 projects award to to Malay contractors, UmNo master still not happy because all these are not they cronies. These are happening since UmNo in control of the government especially TDM time.

Conclusion, UmNo only make use of all the Malays to gain power and then benefit their cronies and relatives.

It is so so sad that one has to announce to the world the numbers of projects given to a certain race group. Why can't it be given to companies who are capable and trust-worthy. How many of the 44 were sub-contracted out again?

I wonder if the mainstream papers reported this????

If the figures are to be believed, then this is a great rejoice for all those Malays who doubted themselves whether they will survive without the ''crutch''.

Maybe Awang is currently racking up his mind to come up with some nasty false infomation to deny this.

How about remaining 22 projects? How much it worth? And from that 44 projects how many only use "Bumiputera/Malay" name??? I'm not surprise if from 44 project awarded to "Bumiputera/Malay" contractors, only a few a the real "Bumiputera" contractor...The rest are just using name...This is the reality...Whoever can even claim that 100% were given to Bumiputera but reality only minimal (maybe less than 10%) are given to real "Bumiputera"!

Pls wake up Bumiputera!!! Pls do not invloved in politics till you have forgotten what you been fighting for!! Other people smiling till can not see their ears!!!

Mr Lim , you are giving the contracts to the wrong Malay , next time you must give to UMNO' Malay .

In UMNO's term :- Malay that support UMNO is Malay , Malay that not support UMNO is traitor like Anwar , Zaid . Tok Guru . And all these Traitors sell the Malay Rights to DAP .

In UMNO view , DAP is komunis , any Malay deal with DAP ( Orang Cina punya party ) are really betray to Malay . But , any Malay that deal with MCA and Gerakan ( orang Cina punya party ) are good Malay .

Some Malay friends asked me , why when Malay make good friend to MCA and Gerakan no problem to UMNO BUT when Malay say hello to DAP , UMNO bising bising like a monkey ?? I answered to them MCA and Gerakan are UMNO's slaves and DAP always say no to them . But , all of them are Orang Cina .

UMNO want to control Malay's brains , so, they have to try all the methods to hapus whoever against them.

So, do you all see the difference ?!

Learn a lesson , you people must give the contracts to the right person , do not tell the world what 70% to Malay , you are going to offence Orang Cina dan Prang Indian, later these pendatang will halau LGE out from Penang.

Do not need to give so much 75% and how many billion and billion . Just give 50% will be enough , give to right one , and somemore has chances to share-share ... everyone happy .... Malaysia has Malaysia's culture , when pendatang come here you better follow the Bolehland 's culture , or else they will show the banner " this land is belong to Malay "... oh.. oh...

Remember , do not kacau UMNO's Malay ....

It's rather sad for the need to go on the defensive, because of someone else's offensive - to say that this race got this percentage, another race's illegal stalls got booked by so many percentage, and so on.

Isn't it time to move on and for all Government at the Council, State and Federal levels to report that X% of Malaysians got booked because of illegal building structures, Y% of Malaysians secured contracts because they are competent, etc.

When will this happen? Don't we all want this to happen?

If many of the 44 projects won by Bumi contractors are in name only, as Nevermind so professed, then these Bumis are real lazy lots, using name to get free money, and don't have to do the work.

That is what these protestors are doing, get contracts just by being Umno members, and not have to do the work. Than go make a loud commotions when can't get their regular candy.

They earned the easy money and move up the ranks by money politics, and one day will make national policies for you and me. Malaysia boleh!

Uitm is contributing to this by planning to churn out 200,000 graduates in 2010, grossly compromising on quality, so the only thing these graduates know when they come out is to get contracts.

nevermind, what do you suggest? why not you find out the details first before barking into conclusion. I thought the same thing happens when BN awarding projects to Bumiputera contractor. Most of them will sub the projects to non bumi contractors and take the 30% or 40% project fee without doing anything.

Dear Idealistic,

This is not about being a UMNOmembers to get contract or Ali Baba! This is about using a Malay/Bumi name to form a company and just use these "idiot" Bumi company to get a contract. The people behind the company is obviously "Non Malay" and pls don't deny as far as I know mostly Chinese. This is not being racist but it is a Fact! Just to let you know that I'm a Banker and doing SME loans, I have met many people especially people behind the company and not the "Puppet" owners! No denial pls as most people in the market know about this!!!

To tell you the truth, I'm UITM graduate and have been working with foreign banks under several Chinese Boss as well multi racial colleages. So far from my experience for the past 15 years not many of my other Multi racial colleages of so call graduated from UM/UKM/USM or even overseas can become a threat to me in term of performance. I'm the first to get promoted and even given bigger role under my Chinese bosses. However, I'm also give reward or credit equally fair to my staff strictly based on performance by not given any preferential to any races! Why, their performance is my performance so why reward those that do not want to work!

Don't always make comments as such other people do not have any experience or stupid! Don't always condemn UITM saying that the graduate can not speak, low class mentality blabla but in actual fact others also the same! I'll always laugh after my interview sessions with the candidates (malay/chinese/indian/etc) but as everyone know the candidates sometimes are scared, no experience, lack of self confidents, etc. Why only UITM??? Do you know out of so call 200,000 UITM graduates/students are PR supporters??? Remember during 1998??? Where's Anwar got the supporters?? What happen if becaue of your statement/comment, these supporters suddenly move to other camp??? Who is in losing side??? Remember when you talk or write, pls use your B_ a_n!!!
